Originally conceived as a “communal platform based in love, creativity, and self-expression,” Los Angeles’ own Momentive collective has quickly evolved into a cutting-edge movement designed to “elevate through frequency, creative innovation” and a shared commitment and love of “the low-end spectrum.” In addition to the forward-thinking imprint that most recently dropped Omphalos, a massive various artist compilation album featuring Los Angeles-based artists, the crew is staying true to their vision of curating events that celebrate and showcase the future-leaning music and art with the highly anticipated Momentive show this Saturday.

Featuring none other than the Los Angeles debut of Monty (1985 Music) with support coming in from crew stalwarts Chief Jesta, dela Moon, Forin, Karmaysynk, Nodsy, Rosson, Newgent, and MC Woes. the night promises to be a proper exploration of the deep and deadly vibes that swerve somewhere between liquid and tech, but always with just the right touch of soul in the mix.
